Sergeant Cecil is onwed by local businessman Terry Cooper, but he soon found out that the horse actually belonged to everyone whose life he touched. And fortunately for us he was willing to share him.
Terry clearly is what one would call a "small" owner; in fact The Cecil is only his fourth horse in training. Terry does not dare to recall the first one, but his filly SUESAM (her name of course being the combination of his wife´s and his daughter´s name) did carry his colours into a winning spot before. The daughter of Piccolo is a half-sister to profilc as well as notorious chaser Palua; she did finish 5 3/4 length behind a certain Sir Percy as a 2-year-old as well. Suesam has recently returned home to the paddocks and has been tested in foal to Compton Place, thus representing the first venture into Breeding-Land by Terry.
As well as The Cecil Terry currently has a 2-year-old in training with Rod Millman, called BELLE BELLINO (Rebellino-Hoh Chi Min). She might be ready to run soon, so watch out for her.
